Park Tool Bicycle Mechanic Classes are taught by League of American Bicyclists certified Cycling Instructors (LCI) with extensive experience. All classes are hands-on so you can learn by doing it yourself! (Bring your bike to class!)

Park Tool Basic Bike Maintenance Class

This 4-hour class is an excellent overview of bicycle maintenance for everyone. Learn about tires, tubes, brakes, gears, and more. Course includes:

How to lube your chain, cables and pivots
How to clean your bike
Minor brake and shifting adjustments
On-ride repairs for road and trail

Park Tool Advanced Mechanics Class

This 8-hour class offers a deeper level of mechanical practice if you have already taken the Basic Mechanics Class. Course includes:

Full tune-ups, including frame alignment
Wheel truing
Chain science
Bearing overhauls and component replacement
